When can I start postpartum exercise after normal delivery?

Pelvic floor exercises and gentle breathing work can begin within 24-48 hours of a normal delivery. More structured exercises, including core and strength training, is usually recommended after your 6-week postnatal check-up, with your doctor's clearance. ThriveCore’s Phase 1 program is specifically designed for the initial weeks of recovery.

Is this program safe after a C-section?

Yes. Beginning at week 2, we start our special C-section recovery path with breathing exercises and slow movements, and progress only as your body heals with medical clearance. All clients who have had a C-section will have individual assessment before progression.

What if I have Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation)?

We use diastasis recti safe exercises to rebuild your core strength without adding any stress to your abdominal muscles. The majority of participants see a measurable reduction in their gap within 8-12 weeks of consistent engagement.

How long are the workout sessions?

The majority of sessions are 20-40 minutes in length and 3-4 times per week. Early phase workouts can be shorter still (15-20 minutes) which makes it easier to fit into life with a newborn. All workouts are done from home with no gym, special equipment or childcare required.

Can I do this program if I'm breastfeeding?

Absolutely. We offer nutritional advice that is supportive of recovery, based on lactation and can be tailored to accommodate your feeding schedule. If you are exercising and well-hydrated , then exercise itself will not have a negative impact on breastfeeding .
